2008 Schedule of Events

• The Driving Season and events will soon be upon us, so get your Prancing Horses out and enjoy the season!
• May 17th and 18th Track days at GingerMan Race Track: Check FCA Central States Region website for Details. It looks like at least a couple of us will be going up to see this track event at GingerMan Race Track which is about an hour or so north of South Bend, Indiana in South Haven Michigan. Email me if you are thinking of driving up, maybe we could drive up as a group.
• Sunday June 8th 11a-3p - Sunday Brunch at Capri Italian Restaurant in Indianapolis. Capri is owned by Matteo's brother and we always have a great turnout for this event and the food is always outstanding. Capri is located at 2602 Ruth Drive, which is at approximately 74 and North Keystone. • Tentatively, June 7th & 8th from 5:30-11:00pm - The Indianapolis Italian Fest would like to invite our club members and their Ferrari's to attend this year and be on display. They are offering us special parking. If you bring your Ferrari the Italian Fest will let you taste some exclusive wines and allow us to eat at no charge. Please RSVP with Jack Bayt who is in charge to guarantee parking and passes to food and wine. To RSVP, call Jack at 317-508-8879.
• In late June (date TBA) we will run another drive through Southern Indiana that will end at the West Baden Hotel and Resort in French Lick. The roads that we run on are some of the best in the entire Midwest, this will be an extension of the “Fall Run” that everyone enjoys so much, so come join “The Drive”. We will meet up in Bloomington Indiana and then be led through the hills of Southern Indiana by Joe Galuoppo. As we get closer check back for more detail on times and places.
• Alert! MotoGP coming to Indy September 14th, Historic 100 Year Anniversary of the first Motorcycle Race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway!
• We are currently offering ‘Best in House’ tickets and weekend passes to the Indianapolis Red Bull Grand Prix for MotoGP. This will be the 100 year anniversary of the first race ever run at the famed Brick Yard. This will be a historic event with MotoGP Motor Cycles running at over 200 miles and hour around the “New” Formula One race track at Indy. Our seats are the best in the house. Penthouse E high up in Turn One where we will be able to see more than 2/3 of the entire race course. We only have 100 tickets available so email JoeA@inin.com to get your tickets now, they won’t last long and you get to be a part of the storied history at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Tickets to Penthouse E with weekend passes are $150 each. • Tentatively we will have a ‘Gathering of Ferrari’ around the Indianapolis Red Bull Grand Prix MotoGP weekend which is September 14th, 2008. Check back for more details on exact timing and place of the event. We will probably have it in conjunction with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, so stay tuned.
• We will again have our Fall Run with a date and time to be announced. This will be a fall drive through the colors of Southern Indiana. Starting in Bloomington and ending in either Bloomington or Madison, Indiana.
• We are looking at a track event for late summer or early fall. We will have to see how ticket sales go for the Indianapolis Red Bull Grand Prix for MotoGP, so that we have enough money for this event. More on this later.
